Max Turner is a Southern California artist. His specialty is life-size bronzes and sculptures, they include children and animals. He made a career out of taking small sculptures and turning them into life size monuments. He still works today on his sculptures although he does more supervising of younger artists than actually doing it himself.

Eagles are members of the bird family Accipitridae, and belong to several genera which are not necessarily closely related to each other. Most of the more than 60 species occur in Eurasia and Africa. Outside this area, just two species, the bald eagle and golden eagle, can be found in the United States and Canada, nine more in Central and South America, and three in Australia. Eagles differ from many other birds of prey mainly by their larger size, more powerful build, and heavier head and beak. Even the smallest eagles have relatively longer and more evenly broad wings, and more direct, faster flight.

Each Golden Eagle Sculpture is museum quality and hand cast in high quality American bronze using the lost wax method. Each bronze dog statue includes a solid marble base and nameplate.
